Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
It is easy to do good and not give up when we can reap immediate rewards. But sometimes, or oftentimes, the returns on your investment of your love, time, prayers and energy are not instantaneous. In this verse God is telling us that our kindness/compassion, fervent prayers, and lifestyle of faithfulness modeled after Jesus are not wasted. When we keep going and keep believing, even when it’s hard, He promises that blessings and good results will come in His perfect timing. Faith means trusting that the harvest is on its way, even if we can’t see it yet.
With Me
I told the Lord, “This journey’s long,”
He said, “I know the length.”
I told Him, “But I’m faint and weak.”
He said, “I’ll give you strength.”
No matter what my words—God heard;
He listened patiently.
But what has meant the most is this,
my Father walks with me.

Please pray for us as we pray for you that the Lord will renew our strength when we feel tired or discouraged, that He will help us to grow closer to Him as we trust His timing, and that we will keep going in every season, knowing that our harvest is sure in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God bless you for your continued prayers, support and encouragement for our family!
With the love of Christ,
