Greetings in the Name of our Lord, with praises to our God for His love and greatness! We are happy to share news once again of the many blessings here! We had our Christian Fellowship Churches of the Philippines annual youth convention on April 15-18 here in Dumaguete City, and it was a wonderful time of fellowship, blessing and revival!
The church was again full with pastors bringing their young people from their churches near and far! It was such a blessing to see the hundreds of young people full of the Spirit, praising and worshipping God with all their hearts!
Our desire was fulfilled because the Lord gave us wonderful revival! Pastors came from far away Zamboanga provinces in Mindanao Island in the Southern Philippines, faithful and committed to join in the precious fellowship! We thank God for the many young people that were baptized in the Holy Spirit, and we know some of them have a call to the ministry in their lives. On the evening of April 17, during the convention, we had our Christian Fellowship School of Ministry commencement and we graduated three young pastors who have already finished their field training and are now proceeding in ministry in the places God has called them! Two are working as pioneer pastors in the province of Zamboanga del Norte in Mindanao!
Then the last Sunday of April, I travelled to Carcar City on Cebu Island to the east of here, and I preached there in our CFC church. It was the 9th anniversary celebration and thanksgiving for the Carcar church. That church was pioneered nine years ago after my late husband Benito held a crusade there! The service was a great time of blessing, celebration and fellowship! The church there has a big building and it was packed full of several hundred people! Many were young people and several area pastors were able to attend also. Thank God for the great revival and joy of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit!
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for the work of the Lord here in the Visayas Central Philippines islands and in Mindanao. We are looking forward to many good reports of our young pastors also who newly entered the ministry. God bless you more abundantly in His service!
