And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them. Mark 16:20.
As the disciples went and preached Jesus, the Lord worked with them and so it is still today! It’s our job and privilege. We’re happy to share some good works being done here in the Philippines. Our many pastors are \doing the work and are growing and successful. Some new works are being started, too.
Our church construction is going on in the town of Mabinay, in the high mountains of Eastern Negros. The work was started with soul winning and Bible study groups. We have a church lot there – not far from the center of town We have started the church construction with foundation, posts and roofing. Now we’re in the process of cementing the flooring so it can be used for services. We cemented the platform floor first and it was used for Sunday service on October 4th! It was a victory for everyone and a day to remember! Now we are continuing the whole floor of the church. It’s a big building so it will be big enough for fellowship gatherings as well as the regular congregation! We are working as God provides the funds. Please pray with us for the needs of this work.
Our Bible school is going on with dedicated students from eastern and western Negros Island. They are preparing themselves for a future ministry. We’re also grateful for our dedicated teachers who are doing a great job. They are also pastors of nearby churches. So, they also have busy schedules. Please pray for the school.
God bless you and keep you in all your ways with more joy, comfort and victories!
