Over the past few weeks, we have been reminded once again that ministry is a journey of continual learning and growth. Sometimes, in the middle of serving, we realize how much more there is to understand—especially when it comes to reaching children with God’s love in ways that truly connect with them.
With that heart, the JHI team had the opportunity to attend the Children’s Worker Training together with Echo Kids International Ministries at Parakletos Seminary in Tomohon, led by Ps Gary & Jaimee Linn from the USA. Sitting in those sessions, listening, learning, and sharing with others who carry the same passion for children’s ministry was both refreshing and humbling for us.
We were reminded that ministry to children is not simply about teaching lessons. It is about entering their world, building trust, and planting seeds of faith in ways they can understand and remember. Every story shared and every lesson learned encouraged us to continue serving with greater creativity, patience, and love.
Shortly after the seminar, our journey continued to several villages in Bali that JHI has been serving through the distribution of USBs filled with Christian content. For quite some time, we had only heard stories about how these USBs were being used. This visit allowed us to finally witness it ourselves.
In the middle of simple village surroundings, we saw children and families gathering together to watch the content from the USBs. Some sat quietly and listened carefully, while others smiled and reacted excitedly to what they were watching. In those small moments, we were reminded that God can use even the simplest tools to touch lives.
These experiences reminded us that ministry is rarely built through one big moment. More often, it grows through small acts of faithfulness—through learning, traveling, showing up, and continuing to serve even when the process feels slow.
We are deeply grateful for every person who has prayed, supported, and walked alongside JHI. This mission has never been about one team alone. It is a collective work made possible by people who share the same desire to bring hope and God’s love to more lives across Indonesia.
As we continue this journey, we invite you to keep partnering with us through prayer and donations. Every support given helps us continue reaching more children, serving more villages, and sharing the Gospel in places where encouragement and hope are still greatly needed.

Thank you for being part of this story with us.
Together, we believe that even the smallest seed planted today can grow into something eternal.
