Dear Missionary Support Int’l Partners and Friends,
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.” Eph. 2:10
Yes, we are made for good works and this is what God has ordained for us to live and work in them! We keep our priorities as His priorities to do the works of His Kingdom! This gives us direction and meaning in our lives! It is what we are living for!
We are thankful for your love, prayers and financial help for the ministry here. The work is going on, growing and blessed. Our Bible school students finished up their academic work and are now out in the ministry as we blessed them to go out on April 23. They will continue now their field training and complete another year as fully equipped pastors. We are so proud of the eleven student/pastors!
There are still several church buildings under construction. I have attached pictures of our new church in La Union, Labason, in the northern Mindanao province of Zamboanga del Norte. The construction is ongoing, but the new congregation is already using the unfinished building. They had their local youth fellowship there recently. They are all encouraged in serving the Lord with their young newly married pastor and wife. Please include this work in your prayers.
The local districts in the Central and Southern Philippines have had their own Youth Fellowships recently, with the youth inspired and on fire to serve God! It is such a blessing to see the move of God among the youth. They are the pastors and pillars of the church of the future!
We will be having our Annual Pastors’ Convention here in the Dumaguete City church the third week of May. All pastors will attend and it will be a big convention. Our local pastors are the speakers, as always. They bring excellent messages. Our theme this year will be “Having the Mind of Christ”!
