Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord that still today we are His witnesses to preach in His Name to all the world! Although the whole world is in a pandemic, but in spite of hardship we keep on doing His Work!
We have three new churches opened here in the province of Negros Oriental in the past few months. One is in the village of Sta Laguna, Tagaytay, in Bindoy town. This village is in the highlands of Bindoy about four kilometers from the town, The road is not good going there, but it’s passable. A concrete block building has been erected there with sturdy steel roofing trusses and steel roofing.
Another new church is in the mountains of Mabinay in the southern end of this island, located in the village of Ataatahan, Campunun-an, Mabinay. A new congregation is also worshiping there. Thank God for these new churches!
We recently celebrated the one year’s anniversary of a new church in the village of Guba, Vallehermoso. This church was pioneered one year ago. They have a church building already there. This place is accessible by 4-wheel vehicles over very narrow and rugged roads. The meaning of “Guba” is broken, and it applies to the difficult road going up there! But the people are good people serving God. The deep mountain valleys there are so spectacular! That’s why the area is called Vallehermoso, meaning “beautiful valley”!
