We just received an August 2021 Newsletter from the Philippines!

“I love you, O Lord, my Strength! The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Deliverer! My God is my Rock, in whom I take refuge!” Psalm 18: 1, 2.

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I trust you are well and fully blessed in serving the Lord! The Lord is our Strength, our Rock and our Everything!

I’m happy again to share some of the good things the Lord is doing here in the Philippines in churches of different places. I’m happy to say that our new church construction in Lipakan on the island of Mindanao is nearing completion and is being used by the congregation now. The new church is fronting the provincial road and had to be reinforced with cement blocks to prevent the frontage from being washed away by heavy rains. Now it is safe and secure!

The Baican church in Negros Oriental is constructing their new enlarged building. The roofing is done and the posts and foundation are done. The congregation is using it now, although there is no walling yet. Recently the church had a wonderful revival and many were filled with the Holy Spirit! I attach pictures.

The Larena church in Siquijor Island is progressing and blessed in their ministry. This church was pioneered and built many years ago. We are happy for the faithful people of God continuing to carry on the ministry!

The Christian Fellowship School of Ministry, which is our Bible training school for pastors, opened on August 2, with nine students enrolled. These young men and women come from far places in Negros Island and committed themselves to study and prepare for pastoral work. There are six men and three women enrolled and they are diligently studying our courses at the School. Thank you for prayers for the Bible School!

May God continue to bless us all and give us more fruit for our labor! God bless you in every way!
