“Go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, and I am with you always to the very end of the age.” Matt. 28:19,20.
Praise the Lord that we can go in His Name, teaching of Him and making followers, right up to the end of the world! The Lord impresses on me continually that the field is the world and it is white for harvest! He opens our eyes and gives a broad perspective so we can see the scope of the work! There’s no time to waste, no time to squander the precious minutes and hours that the Lord gives us, for Today is the Day of Salvation!
During trips to the other side of Negros Island last month, I was blessed to visit several of our pastors and churches. I was humbled to see the commitment and sacrifice the pastors are giving over there to keep on the work to which God has called them. Surely, they have their reward!
This first week of October I visited two of our churches in the northern Mindanao province of Zamboanga del Norte. I made a three hour trip by inter-island ship, thanking God that the super typhoon that had just passed through here was already gone and the seas were calm! It was so relieving to see the blue skies and know that God had prepared the way!
The Christian Fellowship Church pastors joined together for a whole day’s united pastors’ fellowship in the village church of Villa Ramos. It was so encouraging to see pastors who came from far flung towns and villages, riding their motorcycles, to be there with us! They love the fellowship and encouragement of the brethren! I was privileged to share my message of encouragement at the first session. It was a time of revival and blessing!
