Greetings in the Name of the Lord and many blessings in your life! Yes, we ascribe to Him Glory and Strength! We’re happy to share news again of some of the things the Lord is doing here in the Philippines.
The Christian Fellowship Church pastors and churches are moving forward and blessed with growth and blessings, inspite of continued restrictions caused by Covid-19. The Philippine Dept of Health is quick to inforce travel restrictions and even “lockdown” when multiple virus cases surface. So the situation seems to change day by day or week by week in different parts of the country. It seems like we are in for it for “the long haul”. But we thank God for the safety and health of His children!
We had our Semi-annual Pastors’ Convention here in the Dumaguete church on October 18-20, with pastors coming from all over the province of eastern Negros. Only a few were able to come from the western Negros province due to strict travel restrictions. However, we had a great time of fellowship together and we enjoyed the inspiring messages from the Word of God shared by our faithful pastors! Everyone was encouraged to keep on doing the work that God had entrusted to them, regardless of the pandemic. We lift up and encourage one another in the great job we have to do! Some of the churches are enlarging their seating capacity and even putting in balconies!
The Christian Fellowship School of Ministry is going on with our nine students who live at the the School dormitories at the facility. We’re thankful for the Lord calling them to study to prepare for future ministries. They will finish their first semester in December with their prescribed subjects, and the second semester will start in January next year!
