FOR PRAYING!
FOR GIVING!
FOR PARTNERING WITH US FOR THE GOSPEL!
In 14 days of ministry in Ibadan, Nigeria, my team (me and 3 other
evangelists) saw over 9,000 DECISIONS for Christ! And during that time,
with all 22 teams of my fellow evangelists flooding Ibadan, more than
239,000 people said YES to Jesus. Jesus alone receives the glory! This all
happened while preaching in streets, in outdoor marketplaces, small
villages, busy city-centers, and schools.
WHO received Jesus? Adults, teenagers, Muslim women wearing burkas,
motorcycle taxi drivers, shop owners, school teachers, Muslim men, timid
girls, boisterous boys, old ladies, drunk guys, sweet mamas with babies
strapped to their backs, truck drivers, policemen, college students, young
children, old men… the list goes on and on. ALL glory and honor to Jesus
for His power to SAVE SOULS!
There are so many stories and photos that I can share but here is just one
story (I have no pictures from this story – it was too wild to take
pictures!):
I was preaching in front of 1,000 ROWDY high school students, many of them
Muslims, and I only had 12 minutes to present the Gospel! My heart was
desperate to see them born-again. This group of teenagers was out of
control; it was literally like a mosh pit! As I started, I had the thought,
“Holy Spirit, I am not going to fight this chaos, I will just go with it, I
will preach the Gospel to whomever is listening and You will bring them to
Jesus.” The entire time I was preaching, there were pockets of students
with their eyes locked on mine as they leaned in to hear the message while
many other students were talking, laughing loudly, and pushing each other.
It didn’t faze me one bit 😊.
I told a story of birds being tormented in a cage by a cruel little boy, and then
I gave a clear Gospel message of repentance and salvation, ending with,
“you are like those little birds, you are in a cage of sin, but Jesus loves you so
much that He paid the price to set you free today. Do you want to stay in the
cage or are you ready to turn away from your sin, receive the forgiveness of
Jesus and follow Him out of that bondage today?”
WHAT HAPPENED????
The Holy Spirit moved! At least 700 of those students
stopped in their tracks, threw their hands in the air, and cried out to
Jesus for forgiveness and salvation!!! At the end of the prayer, I prayed a
one sentence prayer for the Holy Spirit to fill them, then I said, “Now
let’s wait for a moment, many of you can feel the Holy Spirit filling you
now.” Their hands were lifted, their eyes were closed, and those 1,000
teenagers were completely SILENT for 10 seconds. IT WAS A MIRACLE! Only God
can capture hearts and save souls and we watched Him do it over and over
again in difficult and unlikely settings.
Truly the HARVEST IS READY! I share this to say thank you to you for your
prayer and support and to bring glory to Jesus for His marvelous works! We
also want to say – LET’S KEEP WINNING SOULS TOGETHER!
Right now we are working toward doing Gospel Truck outreaches and Gospel
crusades in both Mexico and Brazil in 2022! I have several meetings this
week with key leaders about launching these initiatives in Latin America.
Will you please pray for us as we prayerfully plan? We are seeking God’s
face to hear His heart and His strategies. We must hear from heaven!
Thousands upon thousands of people will come to know Jesus and be planted
into local churches through these outreaches and crusades – it is VERY
exciting! I will share more with you as soon as we have more details. We
will take all of us working together to bring this vision to pass and we are
confident that the Lord will provide as we walk by faith!
I will send more testimonies and photos in a few days. Also, I will be
sending a YouTube link for a few videos from Nigeria.
Thank you again for praying and supporting. It is an honor to serve Jesus
TOGETHER with you. May God alone receive all the praise as we endeavor to follow
Him and see many lives delivered from the enemy.
In the words of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, “We are here to plunder hell and populate heaven for the glory of Jesus!”
