“Love never fails; and now these three remain, faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.” I Cor. 13:6,13.

It’s a joy and also a challenge to enter this new year 2023 with a fresh ambition to do more in the Kingdom of God, to be more fruitful and committed! Yes, we have a great year ahead of us! As I look back over the past year, I see so much the Lord has accomplished in His people. Now we move ahead and win more victories this year!  Thank God we can serve Him with our fervent love for Him and for souls, too!

Our local Christian Fellowship Church here in Dumaguete is doing well and growing with a lot of enthusiasm in the people, wonderful praise and a new ambition for evangelism. We have new places here in different areas of the city that have weekly outreaches.

Many churches have water baptism, usually in the rivers or at the beach. It is a good sign of growth and the commitment of new believers to follow the Lord. There is always great joy at these occasions, even though some have to walk far to reach the river. Thank God for faithful pastors winning these souls.

The Bible school interns are doing well in their respective assignments in local churches and they are eager to accomplish their final training and graduate. Then they, too, will be pioneer pastors, church planters and faithful associates in the churches here in Central Philippines!

We are grateful for God’s provision, protection and care of His people. The Central and Southern Philippine islands have been repeatedly swept by strong winds and rain and many areas devastated by flooding in the past few months. Thank God for keeping His care over His faithful servants. Please join us in prayer for a very fruitful year ahead, this 2023! God bless you!
