The past two months of February and March have been busy for the pastors and churches here. Some districts have held fellowship meetings for the pastors with great blessing of the presence and anointing of the Lord, resulting in a good encouragement for the pastors. Pastors from the Western province of Negros Island have come to the Eastern province for fellowship and seminars and vice versa. Our pastors also held an open-air crusade the town plaza of the mountain town of Mabinay with a nice result of souls coming to the Lord. It’s truly harvest time!
There are up-coming Youth Fellowships in April. These are good times for the youth to learn more and grow spiritually, and to make a deeper commitment to the Lord. Their hearts are open and willing to follow the Lord and commit themselves to serve Him. It is really revival time! We are expecting young people to commit themselves to study in pastoral Bible training and enroll in the Christian Fellowship School of Ministry. Please help us pray for committed young people to prepare for future ministry!
Last week I was privileged to travel to a mountain church on the western side of the island to install a new pastor in one of our churches there. As usual, I rode the public bus at 5 a.m. to make it to the far village for service. I was blessed to install a young pastor and his wife as the new pastors there. It was a blessed and happy time with the believers in the church there!!
Thankfully, we are enjoying the Philippine “summer” with bright sunny days. It’s a relief after so many months of heavy rain, wind and flooding. Thank you for your prayers for us always!
