“Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the Glory due unto His Name: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” Psalm 29: 1,2
All praise and glory to the Lord! Greetings in the Name of our Lord, trusting you are fully blessed. What a joy it is to serve the Lord!
This is the month when a lot of people turn their minds to thanksgiving for all their blessings, and they celebrate with family and friends! Especially for Christians, we remember the wonderful blessings of God and we look forward to what He is yet to do and accomplish in the days ahead. My own personal motto is: Ädvance, Advance!
We’re happy for the accomplishments of our dear pastors that we can share each time with you. The pastors are moving ahead, step by step, to take more spiritual advances in their areas. The young Bible school students are now interns, doing their field training, and really doing well. I’m so proud of the progress they are making now and I know it will continue into the future. There is no turning back and no surrendering to hardship or trials! Churches that were very slow in growth before, now are having a new burst of youth so full of enthusiasm in the Lord!
Next month I’ll be travelling over the mountains to the far places in Western Negros where we have many pastors who are pastoring and pioneering new churches. I’ll be dedicating a new church building in a place newly pioneered, called Riverside. The church has roof and walls but doesn’t have flooring yet, but it is being used. It’s exciting to look forward to this trip, which I’ll take on the public bus, as usual, leaving here at four in the morning. I intend to visit also several Christian Fellowship Churches and pastors on that trip in two or three different areas, sleeping overnight with them. Thank you for your prayers!
The Dumaguete City church is also growing with many youth and young adults, and prayer and Bible study groups meeting weekly in some areas. We recently baptized 20 new believers!
