Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus! All praise and honor be to the Lord.
The work of the Lord is going on here in the Philippines with growth in the churches and good results in the outreaches. Whether in towns or villages, the Lord is working by His Spirit to move in the hearts and lives of the people, so that they are coming to Him and growing spiritually. Some places are so distant or secluded that it takes a strong commitment on the part of the pastor to work there. But God gives courage and material supply as well to them. The children and youth are eager to follow the Lord and direct their lives for Him.
During the months of November, December and January, many of our churches celebrate their “Thanksgiving Celebrations” in their churches! It is a very happy and special occasion to commemorate the founding the the local churches and to remember so many blessings they have received. (However, these celebrations have nothing to do with the American Thanksgiving Holiday!!) Some churches have a strong revival during their celebrations and the whole church is strengthened in the Lord!
