“Being confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Phil. 1:6
Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are confident that God will continue performing his good work in our lives! It is our privilege to serve!
Our Christian Fellowship churches and pastors are doing well and are strong in moving forward in their work! We are so proud of them. Our Bible school students, seven boys and four girls, are also doing well in their studies and have completed their first semester in the School of Ministry. They have a strong determination to fulfill their calling to be future pastors! We are proud of them! The second semester will start December 1, 2025!
The Philippines has suffered a lot this month of November with two severe typhoons, Typhoon Tino and Typhoon Uwan, passing through the second following two days after the first. Tino hit the central Philippines and struck the many islands including Cebu and Negros Island. There was severe damage in Cebu and surrounding towns there, with terrible flooding and much loss of life. Then it hit Negros, passing to the north end and hit many towns and on to the west side of the island before proceeding northwest. More than 200 people were killed in the Philippines. Some of our churches were damaged and some church members lost their lives. Hard hit was the city of Canlaon in northern Negros where we have a church. Since the church building was on a hill, it had not so much damage. But some members living along the river were carried away together with their homes , and four died. We immediately gave relief assistance of food, water and clothing. The Canlaon church delivered the relief goods, thanks to the love and generosity of God’s people.
We always encourage our pastors and Christian brothers to be strong and persistent in serve God. Thank you, also, for your prayers and concern for us, as we are still in typhoon season and expect more than 20 storms a season. We are still giving assistance. Please pray for the people here. Thank you so much! In His service,
Sis June Pacleb
