Dear Partners & Friends,

MSI (Missionary Support Int’l) is blessed to be in partnership with such faithful and dedicated missionaries that have heard and responded to the call of God.  Lori and I have had the honor of stewarding this ministry since it was founded in 2017!  We praise the Lord for what He has done and continues to do through your faithful giving and prayers to reach the world for Jesus!

Here is a brief summary of the ministries that YOU have been supporting over the past 5 years:

LIGHTNINGS OF GOD – Reverend Kenneth Harbaum just returned from a trip to Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya.  His team continues to train and encourage pastors and leaders to equip churches in their region. The Kisumu Hospital Clinic continues to be a vital part of community.  MSI partnered with Covenant of Peace International and COPI Westcoast to complete the entire 4-story hospital project.  One of the floors is dedicated to Missionary Support International in honor of Chuck’s parents, the late Rev. Richard and Joan Myers of Michigan.

Pastor Kenneth Harbaum and Pastor David Shipman traveled to Kenya to meet with several pastors. Pictured with them is Pastor George and his wife. Mary.

PHILIPPINE ISLANDS – Pastor June Pacleb reports that the Lord has been doing great things among His people. They are so happy that the Dumaguete City headquarters church is growing consistently with many outreaches in the city, as well as evangelism, discipleship training, and home groups. The church people are reaching out to win their neighborhoods. It’s a joy to see the church full and to experience the joyful praise and worship and the ministry of His Word!  Their branch churches around the central and southern Philippines are also growing. Many congregations are constructing new buildings or enlarging and extending their old ones.  The Bible school graduates are working as interns in branch churches.  We can see their progress and maturity!

Water baptism at Maayong Tubig, Dauin, February 2022PHILIPPINE ISLANDS – Pastor Celia Valdez received funds from MSI to purchase over 120 chairs and tables for their children’s Vacation Bible School ministry.  She overseas a team who ministers daily in the villages to help the elderly and the poor.

GREAT DOOR MINISTRIES – Rev. Jes and Kristen Gray have relocated to Brasila, Brazil to take language courses and spearhead a city-wide crusade on the outskirts of Sao Paulo. They have coordinated with over 100 local pastors in this evangelistic crusade. MSI was, once again, able to be a big part of this outreach.  This momentous event was also in cooperation with another long-standing ministry that we support, Brazilian Children’s Outreach.

Evangelistic crusade held in Brazil for several nights with local pastors. Pastor Kristen Gray was instrumental in organizing this city-wide evangelistic crusade in Cipo, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

BRAZILIAN CHILDREN’S OUTREACH – Teena Evans and her team from BCO are focused on building houses and supporting the communities in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The volunteers have a heart for women, children, and men’s ministries and currently have started the “Rebuilding Dreams Project”. The women are meeting in houses twice a month.  Many are coming to Christ and lives are being changed dramatically by the Spirit of God.

Pastor Jim Hart and his sister Teena grew up as children of the original founders of Brazilian Children’s Outreach. They faithfully minister to the orphans and widows of Sao Paolo, Brazil.

TEL-A-VILLAGE – Pastor Bill Myers has reported to us that the TV Studio is up and running, producing children’s programs, Bible studies and messages to many islands and villages of Indonesia. They are currently looking for a less expensive satellite channel, but the programming is still going to hundreds of thousands of people every day. Testimonies are coming back of salvations, healings and changed lives. The work is reaping a great harvest of souls in the largest Islamic population in the world.

TURKEY –  Missionary Bethany Yagci continues to minister discreetly and effectively in Turkey through Bible studies for the Turkish people. She is in need of our continuous prayers.

USA –  Urban Outreach Phoenix, women’s shelters, and local food banks are ministries that MSI supports regularly.  Rev. Eugene Moore II has such a heart for the people of Phoenix.  MSI supports his ministry monthly.  Lori continues to facilitate women’s mentoring sessions and helps restore broken lives impacted by addiction.

RETIRED MISSIONARY – MSI is pleased to continue supporting one of our dear “retired” missionaries, Phyllis Whitely, who resides in the US after many years abroad.

This past summer, Lori and I took an abbreviated trip back to Michigan to visit 3 churches; Anchor Assembly (Pastor Billy Wilbanks), Troy Assembly of God (Pastor Bob Cholette) and Waterford Lighthouse Christian Church (Pastors Kevin and Tammie Chapman).  We always look forward to leading worship and preaching the Word of God wherever we are asked.

We are so thankful for the prayers and support of our faithful partners and churches. We never imagined the impact that MSI has been able to make because of YOUR love for people and the hope we have in Jesus to bring others into relationship with Him.

Due to many travel restrictions internationally that we have encountered the past two years, we have not been able to travel quite as frequently or easily as we had planned.  Regardless, we have been increasing our giving  to our missionaries, but traveling less out of country for now.

We hope you will continue to keep MSI in your thoughts and prayers. We are blessed to continue to sow 100 percent of every gift or donation directly into the lives of our missionaries.  MSI thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for partnering with us with your faithful support and prayers.

UNTIL THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS!
