Would you like to help one of our missionary partners? Our friends at Tel-A-Village evolved their ministry throughout the years from starting as a Bible School to what it is today, a Christian TV production house producing Christian programs.
The recorded programs are put onto a DVD which then are sent out to over 200 localities across the country that are using the program. The host at each locality invites all of the neighbors to his/her house, then they watch 6 hours of Christian programming consisting of children’s ministry, educational, inspirational, crusade, testimony and Bible teaching. The reports each week are filled with testimonies of people giving their hearts to Christ, being healed, and lives transformed, which all the glory goes to God.
The amazing fact is that all of this is happening in the largest concentration of Muslim’s worldwide. There are more Muslims in Indonesia than in the combined population of Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Iraq. In a nation of over 275 million people, of which 85 % are Muslims, God is moving and accomplishing a work of wonder to behold. Additional to that great work, God has granted Tel-A-Village favor with a two different cable companies in the nation with over 35 million subscribers currently, resulting in our children’s program being aired every day of the week across the country, and they are asking us for more programs. So we are starting to produce new programs to minister to the subscribers via the satellite broadcast.
Tel-A-Village is in need of funds due to the demands of additional ministry. The monthly operating budget for Tel-A-Village is US $3,000.00. TAV also has additional villages requesting to be a part of the Tel-A-Village network. Each locality receives a TV & DVD player /Satellite dish designated to our programs of which we find a donor to sponsor that village. The cost per locality is US $600.00, which would also make that locality satellite ready. TAV needs our prayers.
Tel-Village has as a mandate from God which is to have every eye within eyesight of the gospel, and every ear within hearing range of the gospel. We have 68,000 villages total in the country of Indonesia, of which we have 67,700 yet to be reached. The task is not too big, nor impossible to accomplish, for if the opportunity of a lifetime is seized in the lifetime of the opportunity, great things occur, lives are touched, and God’s will is accomplished. So, please pray for hearts to be open to God’s promptings to be a part of changing a nation via Tel-A-Village. A nation with the largest concentration of Muslim’s worldwide.
